Unit Manager/ Agency Manager/ Sr. Agency Manager

Role: 

  • Achieving unit business goals through quality recruitment and training of Insurance Advisors
  • Develop business segments as per company strategy with compliance

Reporting To:

  • Branch Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • To recruit team of Insurance Advisors as per the corporate strategy e.g. HNI IAs satisfaction and customer grievances
  • To ensure and maintain levels of productivity as prescribed
  • To focus on and develop various business segments as per the sales strategy
  • To train IAs with the help of training team
  • To uphold the brand image and ensure compliance with all internal as well as external regulations.

Person Profile:

  • Graduate with 2-5 years of relevant experience, MBA(Marketing) preferred

Critical Competencies:

  • Sound Knowledge of IRDA regulations
  • Good Communication Skills.
  • Good team building skills
  • Good knowledge of underwriting and ops processes
  • Training and motivation capacity
  • Knowledge of finance, investment

Training Manager (TM) / Sr. Training Manager (STM)

Role: 

  • To deliver training and execute other training interventions for the given territory

Reporting To: 

  • ATM/ RTM as applicable

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Identifying Training needs of SBIL employees and distributors through discussions with the area incharge.
  • Design and execute a training calendar in consultation with ATM /RTM.
  • Create, capture, and maintain MIS. Generate various reports about various training activities and its effect on the performance.
  • Maintain inventories / files & related documentation for Training Team
  • Undertake all such activities for the effective implementation of training strategy under the guidance ATM / RTM.

Person Profile: 

  • Qualifications: Essential- Graduate / PG, Desirable- Additional qualification in Insurance, / Finance, MS Office & related software.
  • Experience: 3-5 years. Atleast 2 years in Training. Preference to BFSI/ Retail / Telecom / Pharma.

Critical Competencies: 

  • Good Presentation skills
  • Basic knowledge of Life Insurance
  • Good Interpersonal Communication Skills
  • Good Analytical skills
  • High on Planning and Organizing orientation

Key Interactions: 

  • Area Managers and other members of local leadership team
  • Regional Director, RTM & Content Development Manager
  • STCs of SBI & other senior officials as desired

Measures of success: 

  • Successful delivery for specified no of man days a month
  • Successful implementation of various training initiatives / products
  • Sales Productivity changes for the trained participants

BDE / Sr. BDE / BDM - Bancassurance

Role: 

  • Achieving sales target for the Region Relationship with BMs and CIFs

Reporting To: 

  • Area Manager

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Achieving sales targets
  • Increase in number of CIFs / active branches
  • Training CIFs, encouraging SBI staff to become CIF
  • Arranging training programs for CIFs on products and selling skills
  • Increasing productivity of CIFs

Person Profile: 

  • Graduate with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience (Minimum two years of relevant experience)
  • MBA (Marketing) preferred

Critical Competencies: 

  • Professional degree.
  • Product Knowledge
  • Action planning
  • Good relationship with BMs / CIFs
  • Good communication skills
  • Persuasive
